Mule School
|
Welcome to Mule School. We'll use this time together to visit about our favorite subject, the mule. I have raised and trained mules for more than twenty years...and had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business, respected horse trainers of different disciplines (from dressage to reining) and ride with many of the great natural horsemanship clinicians such as Peter Campbell, Buck Brannaman and Ray Hunt.
MULESCHOOL.COM will cover topics here that seem to come up often when we talk about mules. I have included some excellent questions that were sent to me in care of another website (Mulerider.com which is no longer on the web) in hopes that they might be helpful to you. Please feel free to send us your questions on mules, training, health care, tack, etc.
Also included a helpful section on mule terms, how a mule differs from the horse and a section of great photos showing the versatility of the mule.

Longears are interesting--versatile, athletic, loyal and smart. But some unfortunate myths exist for this unique hybrid ...mistakenly labeling mules as stubborn, lazy and prone to kick without provocation. It is my hope that this website will help educate the public about what an incredible animal is formed by this union of horse and donkey.

We raise, train and show quality mules that go on to excel in the showpen and are good-minded enough to make great trailridng animals.
